The title phrase of this blog conjures up the central biblical message of a caring and involved Father, the drama of the human spirit, the struggles of a historical people, and the songwriting of Bob Dylan. And that's pretty much what this blog is about: the soul, the psyche, community, and a touch of the arts. I think Dylan says it best and succintly:

I am hanging in the balance
of the reality of man
Like every sparrow falling,
like every grain of sand."
